「タイ王国ろうあスポーツ協会」に卓球用具を寄贈いたしました

Sport for Happiness with the Deaf Sports Association of Thailand (DSAT)

I am currently in Bangkok as our team participated in 14th Asian (Pacific) Veteran Table Tennis Championship. While the result of the games was not as expected, today, I was able to attend personally the hand-over event of table tennis materials to the Deaf Sports Association of Thailand. Those table tennis materials were donated by many Japanese TT friends through “World of Table Tennis (takkyu oukoku 卓球王国)“ of Japan. We are to start a collaborated project to help children with hearing impairment access sporting (table tennis) opportunities in special schools. I was also able to provide some table tennis lessons to children with hearing impairment today. Wish every child with or without disabilities and DSAT to enjoy happy holdays!!

卓球王国を通じて日本の皆さまから頂いた卓球用具（添付のリスト参照）を、タイ王国ろうあスポーツ協会に寄贈いたしました。本当にろうあの子供たちや関係者の方々に喜んでいただき、うれしい限りです。デフリンピックでタイを代表する選手たちとも今日、練習やコーチングをする機会をいただきました。寄贈した卓球用具は主としてタイ王国の各ろうあ学校において、卓球クラスを開き、卓球を知ってもらうための一助として活用することになります。今後も、年に1－2回は訪問して、協力活動を行いたいと思っており、逐次、進展をご報告いたしたいと思います。皆さま、よい年末年始をお迎えください。
